Kids are welcome. Encouraged, in fact, as we want a realistic audience as our
school performers showcase what they do best!
The best of the best will attend.

Dear Friend,
OK, so choosing assembly programs for
your school doesn't rank up there with finding a cure for cancer.
However, outstanding school assemblies and in-class programs are not
only talked about long afterwards by your students, but can
literally help shape lives.
My name is Jeff Evans and since 1998
I've made my full time living as a professional magician and
motivational speaker for kids. During that time I've done what
other school assembly presenters do - mail materials, call schools,
and drop by information packets when in the area doing shows.
Then, at a magic convention in Las Vegas I
spoke with Chicago school assembly presenter Danny Orleans who had
an intriguing question. He asked me, “Do you exhibit at your arts
in education showcase?” He described how schools in his area all
attend this showcase that is full of people who bring assemblies to
schools.
Well, that didn’t exist in Washington…
until
now!
The
Assembly Showcase is a win-win for attendees and performers. Not only is
the Showcase free to attend when you pre-register, but
each school receives a $50 discount coupon
good to book one assembly. You decide how you want to spend
it, but this special offer is good only for a program booked at the conference. Bring
your decision makers!
The best of the
best will attend.I’ve searched out and invited
professional school presenters, many of whom I’ve worked with at
events over the years. Only presenters with a proven track record and positive references
are invited.

Visit our
Performer Directory for details for
each presenter.
Attend
the Showcase and you'll have
opportunities to meet with these presenters face-to-face and learn more about how they work.
Cut through the clutter and see what you’re buying.Let’s face it, you get tons of letters and
brochures from fundraising companies and assembly presenters. You
probably either file it or toss it
with barely a glance.
I don’t blame you. It’s hard to tell the
“real” offers from the junk unless you’re familiar with the company
and their product. Are they based in Washington, or some other
part of the country? And do they send a different performer
than you see in the brochure?
Our Showcase gives you the opportunity
to talk with and meet the presenters in person. They are happy to
tell and show you what they do, and how they can help your school.
If you have questions, this is the place to get them answered.
Block-Book and Save More
Many assembly presenters offer block-booking
discounts for schools that coordinate dates for their programs. It
simply makes sense to do more than one program in a day,
particularly when working out of town. Ask presenters for more
details.
Best of all, since you’re surrounded by other
school representatives, the Showcase is the ideal time to
make connections with other groups that may be interested in teaming
up with you to save money.
It's FREE to attend...
but RSVP for a chance to win special prizes.
Keeping the Showcase very
affordable - or free - is important to me. After all, we
want people to come and see what the presenters have to
offer! This is a family event and kids are welcome.
RSVP by
e-mailing me and you'll also receive a free raffle ticket.
Each exhibitor donates a $20 item which will be given away between
the Showcase performances.

I’ll see you on Sunday, September 26, 2010
at The Seattle Public Library for the second annual
Washington School Assembly Showcase.
Doors open at noon; performance Showcase begins at 2:00 pm.
Sincerely,
Jeff Evans
